challenge. casino mogul sheldon adelson -- who is committing 650-million dollars to build an n-f-l stadium in las vegas -- says he's willing to walk away from negotiations. fox five's eric hilt spoke to a sands representative about the comments. for fans of bringing the raiders to las vegas, the last few months have been a roller coaster. "it's been up and down, carson city was a little crazy" but for some, that process has hit another down at a conference in israel, sheldon adelson said -- "they want so much, so i told my people, 'tell them i could live with the deal, i could live without the deal. here's the way it's gonna go down. if they don't want it, bye-bye'" according to a report from reuters "its a non story, there's no real context to it" sands senior vp andy abboud told me supporters of a las vegas raiders shouldn't worry about the

negotiation style and negotiations in general, there's no problems in negotations there's no real issues, we met with them all day yesterday, sort of a non story" but what abboud calls a non-story comes out the same week as another report earlier this week plans to build a new football stadium in oakland were submitted to the city by a group led by hall of fame player and former raider, ronnie lott. "its not just one person, its a number of people who have said they want to contribute not just who they are but dollars and cents to this effort" -- lott sot an effort that abboud says, sands corporation isn't concerned about. because oakland hasn't been able to get the money needed to build a new stadium for the team. "we look at all that, we've been assured by everyone that that will be very difficult to accomplish, nothing has changed in oakland that will allow them to finance a stadium" and fans and union leaders aren't concerned about the reports either. some stores admit they have trouble keeping the shelves stocked with the political costumes... especially as the election creeps up on us. store owners say the trump masks outsell four to one... compared to clinton. customers are also combining costumes this year. lets say donald trump and the octopus costume, um, 'he had hands all over me like an octopus.' so that's a funny one. and now i just heard clinton in a prisoner outfit because you know 'crooked hillary. she should be placed in jail.' so you see a lot of these political puns and ideas coming from all of our customers." and forget what the polls say... "spirit halloween" claims the mask index since 1998 has accurately predicted -- based on sales -- the outcome of the presidential elections. so far -- it shows trump with a slight lead over clinton. the election season is also showing up on front porches... in a huge way!

news, the donald and hillary were no brainers. she'd already done a 374 pound trumpkin last year. (jeanne moos, reporting) "the trickiest feature to get right on trumpkin was, what else, the hair." it's made up of 6 very large wigs. carved trumpkins are popping up all over social media...right down to the minimalist wig and hole. when it comes to halloween, the donald is winning... his mask is overwhelmingly outselling hillary's nationwide. usually the candidate whose mask sells best tends to win the election. but the trump mask has an advantage. (tony bianchi, manager of halloween adventure) "the left likes to buy it because they want to lampoon him and the right likes to buy it cause he's god-like - he's their candidate." and over 95% of people who buy latex masks are men. as for the donald's pumpkin, uncarved, it'll last till new years. e this message. i've seen what can happen as the result of hate. my son matt was murdered in laramie, wyoming, in 1998. he was befriended by two men in a bar who pretended to be gay. they offered him a ride home, and when he was in their car, they robbed him and beat him. they drove matt out to the prairie and tied him to a split-rail fence, then beat him some more and left him for dead. in the aftermath of matt's death, in the love and support we were shown. so when i see the hate that donald trump has brought to his campaign for president, it terrifies me. i'd like to punch him in the face, i'll tell ya. ahh, i don't know what i said, uhh, i don't remember. he's a mexican. i could stand in the middle of fifth avenue and shoot somebody, and i wouldn't... words have an influence. violence causes pain. hate can rip us apart. i know what can happen as the result of hate,
